Weekly Updates - Week of 8/17/15

1. Instrument rental night for the 6th grade and any new 7th/8th grade students is Tuesday, August 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the DMS Cafeteria.
   
2. DMS Band handbooks will be sent home with students this week.  Please read them with your child and return the agreement form on the last page.  You may also download it here.
3. 7th/8th grade students - We will begin pulling students on Tuesday for the playing portion of your SLO pre-test.
4. Marching Band students - If you have not returned your handbook agreement form, account form, or medical form, get those in ASAP!  Remember, you are not allowed to participate in the first football game if your medical form is not on file.
5. The first football game is Friday, August 21.  Marching band students report to the bandroom, in uniform, at 7:00 p.m.  Students must have black gloves, LONG black socks, and their maroon band shirt.
6. A letter about district honor band, all-state band, and UGA honor band will be sent home with students this week.  DMS students may view their letter here. DCHS students may view their letter here.
